Our Partners

These fine organizations are currently working with A3 to expand opportunities for the school and our students. It’s a symbiotic relationship: A3 benefits from these groups expertise while our partners are able to reach a whole new audience of students.

  • The Decision Education Foundation is working with A3 to create project-based curriculum to encourage good decision making.
  • The Emerald Arts Center provides space and guests artists for A3
  • The Wildish Community Theatre is a new community theatre that will open in September, 2006. A3 students & staff manage this space for the community, serve as crew members, and in return A3 uses the space several times during the year for productions.
  • The University of Oregon’s Natural History & Culture Museum works with A3 on a variety of practical science opportunities. Students will work hands on in the application of science concepts and principles at NMCM.
  • Willamalane Park District. The Springfield School District is renting Willamalane’s Memorial Building for a variety of programs, including A3. The park district is making the rent affordable and is working with A3 this first year to manage the Wildish Community Theatre.
  • Blue Rhino Studios. Blue Rhino is a new photography studio that opened up in downtown Springfield. A3 students will be able to work along side Chris Beard, the photographer, to learn professional techniques in digital photography.

Partnerships “in the works.”

  • Chambers Communications. A3 students will serve as interns and work alongside video producers, technicians, and other professionals, gaining real world experience at one of the west coast’s only HD video studios.
  • Willamette Repertory Theatre. A3 theatre techs would work with WRT staff their production venues. As well, A3 students will serve as business interns at WRT.
  • Lord Leebrick Theatre Company. A3 students will work as lighting and running crew technicians, perhaps even as designers.
