“I moved to the Springfield area a couple years ago from Sun Valley, Idaho to pursue career development from the University of Oregon. I have worked as a special education teacher for 5 years and enjoy working with and guiding students. I am excited about working with students and staff at A3 because I will get to express and use my creative ideas and will have the flexibility to work with many students in different subjects. I strongly believe it is important to teach students how to think for themselves and show them how everything you learn in one subject area is related to information in another subject area. I see A3 using this strategy to develop and guide the vision of the school. I know the full integration model of A3 works by challenging students to connect all their knowledge. I am excited to work with students in this unique but realistic learning environment.”
