The daily schedule at A3 starts at 8:25 AM and ends at 4:15 PM, Monday through Thursday. Friday’s are shortened schedules, beginning at 10:00 AM.

Students spend the morning in Humanities and Math/Science classes, rotating daily between the main A3 building at 615 Main St, the Willamalane Memorial building, and the Wildish Community Theatre. Students work in small groups, on individualized projects, and across the curriculum so there is very little “seat work,” but, instead, many opportunities and encouragement to integrate academics with the arts.

All students will take a 50 min. per day writing course , taught by every A3 staff member.

In the afternoon, students rotate through a series of ARTS CORE classes in visual and graphic arts, movement & dance, theatre, video, media, and others that are created based on student interest and curricular needs. The ARTS CORE build a foundation of arts skills that students will use in academic classes as well as will provide the basic skills for deeper exploration in the arts.
